Password guidelines and Recommendations
To keep your account secure, follow these password rules and best practices:
Password Requirements
Must be at least 12 characters long (maximum of 128).
Must include at least one letter.
Must include at least one number.
Must include at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $, etc.).
Recommended Security Practices
Never reuse the same password used for your email or any other accounts.
Use a password manager like Dashlane to create and securely store random, strong passwords—ideally 64 characters or more.
If You're Not Using a Password Manager
Create a unique, nonsensical phrase by combining random words, intentional misspellings, capital letters, numbers, and symbols.
Choose something memorable to you but hard to guess for others.
Avoid using famous quotes or predictable phrases.
